Echelon Command Information Centre Ltd watches sites, alarms and conditions for customers who need someone awake when they are not.
What we do
Most of what Echelon does is monitoring: CCTV, fire and intruder alarms, and process conditions such as temperature and humidity. Signals arrive at our control centre, an operator assesses them, and something happens — a call, a keyholder, a response vehicle, the emergency services. The part customers actually buy is the judgement in the middle.
Around that sits the rest of it: keyholding and alarm response, manned guarding, event security and event medical cover, and incident management for the days when the plan has already stopped working.
Where we are
The control centre and main operating base is in the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. Most customers are in Lincolnshire and Humberside, close enough that our own response resources reach them inside an agreed time. Monitoring itself has no such limit — if a signal can reach us, we can watch it.
The team
Echelon's people come from incident management, emergency planning and business continuity backgrounds, which shapes how the control room is run: written arrangements, a defined escalation ladder, and a bias towards phoning someone early rather than hoping a situation resolves itself.
As an employer, Echelon is a Bronze-level signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.
History
Echelon Command Information Centre Ltd was incorporated in November 2021 and is registered in England and Wales, company number 13765107.
Fire and security work previously quoted under Sensor-Link Technologies Ltd is now handled by Echelon directly, including requoting of jobs issued under the previous owner.
In 2026 we picked up customers left unmonitored when IBWEST went into administration. We hold no details for those sites — data protection prevents it — so anyone affected needs to contact us directly.
How we are held to account
Echelon holds ISO 27001 for information security management and ISO 9001 for quality management, is certified to Cyber Essentials Plus, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller.
That last one matters more than it sounds. A monitoring company holds site plans, keyholder details, camera footage and alarm histories. Losing control of that is its own kind of security failure, so the systems we run are audited the same way the service is.
