Why Echelon

Most of what we do is judgement. An alarm goes off or a camera picks something up, and someone has to decide — quickly and properly — what happens next. That someone could be you.

We are a growing, independent company with our own control room and our own response teams, not a call centre and not a subcontractor. You will work to written arrangements and a clear escalation ladder, with a team that would rather phone someone early than hope a situation resolves itself.

  Control room · shifts, 24/7

  Watch camera feeds, assess fire, intruder and process alarms, and decide what happens next — a call, a keyholder, a response officer or the emergency services.

  Keyholding and alarm response: attend activations and secure sites across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, London and Surrey, and Wales, in our own vehicles.

  Scheduled and random patrols across a round of client sites — checking, locking up and reporting back to the control room as you go.

  Manned guarding on client sites: patrols, access control and being the visible, reliable presence the site is paying for.

What helps

Most front-line security roles need the right SIA licence for the job, so tell us which you hold. Experience in security, the emergency services, the armed forces or another control room is welcome, but what matters most is calm judgement and doing what you said you would.
